Layer 1: Secure Transit (HTTPS — The Armored Truck)
Your connection to our website is protected by HTTPS (TLS encryption). Think of this as an armored truck carrying your message from your browser to our server. The connection itself is secure, preventing anyone from eavesdropping during transit. This is an essential industry standard.
Layer 2: End-to-End Encryption (PGP — The Locked Safe)
Here is where we go a step further. Before being sent, your message is sealed in a digital safe that is locked with a key that only our engineering team possesses (this is PGP encryption). This locked safe is then placed inside the armored truck (HTTPS). Even when the truck arrives at our server, the safe remains locked. The message is **never stored on the website**; it's sent directly to us as an encrypted block, and only we have the private key to open it.
